i lag bad on gunz

I have a dsl connection. whenever I join a game on gunz (which i just downloaded) no one appears to be moving and I am told I lag. I googled faqs and forums, it seems to be a common problem. Can someone tell me how to fix it?

Don't have any other programs running that use any bandwidth while playing the game.

I tried that, I even sweeped my comp a couple times for bugs.

This didnt work for me but if might work for you:
While in the lobby, go to Options, Video, and then click optimize.

Nope, didnt work. Well, theres my 15 minutes of fame on gunz... time to find something that will work.

Lol doesn't work for me either, I have no clue what happened, I was able to have lag-free for like 2 years and I got up to 40+, and I had to delete that account because of LAG!!!!!!!!!!!!
