Just adding that the Wii does have rumble. It's a quite sophisticated rumble feature I might add.

lol, from my view, a nutralist's view, i think the ps3 will come out the winner (in america)
i mean, sure theres a lot of nintendo fan boys out there...
but look at the xbox 360, its not doing so hot, it like having less sales then the ps2, and ps2 has been out for a long time
as soon as either the wii comes out, or ps3 comes out, xbox 360 is going to fail (not that im dissing, ive never played so i dont know what its like)
so thats one down right there....
and, most ppl have a ps2, and so they are going to go in the route to save the most $, buying the ps3. why? reverse play. which, wii, i dont think, is not going to have
and in total, the wii is going to be more expensive, because all the add ons, if you wanted to play a one player shooting game, or w.e, you have to buy something that hookes up to your controller. and what about two player? same thing. and three players? same thing. and four? same thing. so your looking at buying 4 things that your not going to use everytime you play your wii. so even if the add on is 25$ for one, its going to come out $100. and nintendo knows that. oh, and now you want to play a fishing game, so you have to buy the rill add on for the remote, and again, if you wanted to play multi player, you would have to buy an extra one for each person you wanted to play with. and now the two-handed-controller-add-on
your going to use this for most of your games you play, so of course your going to have to buy 4 of these.
theres a lot of things the ps3 doubles for, mp3 player, cd player, game thingy-er, dvd player, blu-ray(i think) player, it can play ps2 and ps1 games, location free player, i even think it can be a hotspot thing too... theres a lot more too
so if you didnt have a cd player, or ps3, you would have to buy one, which will cost you more money

thats my thinking. and of course, im going to give each system a fair chance before i say wich is my favorite

PS3 is going to have a very hard time with sales. It's a good system and has an ok lineup, but $600? First off, let me explain that I want one so I'm not bashing, I just think you all need to realize how much $600 for a video game system is. Yes, it plays mp3's....I have an iPod for that, it has a hard drive....so does 360 and I have that.....The only thing decent that ps3 has over anything is a Blu-Ray player. Do any of you have a 1080p tv to utilize it? I doubt it. I don't even know if half of you know what 1080p is. So don't use blu-ray as an excuse for it being $600 because that is rediculous. They're jumping too fast into the HD era. I don't even have an HDTV yet and neither do millions of people. Sony is forcing people to pay $600 for a feature that is useless to millions of people. That is not good business. Sure, the ps3 in 3-5 yrs would be awesome. Most people will have HD and will love it. Right now, it's just not the practical system. Sure, launch it will sell like crazy, but I think shortly after that sales will drop dramatically because all the hardcore fans bought one. I don't think the ps3 is going to be the casual system like the ps3. I think alot of people will buy a 360 over the ps3 and possibly a Wii, but we'll see.

Dragon Quest is the only game in Japan that there is a LAW that theyre not allowed to release on the weekday because too many people skip work and school, so yes, it is a big whoop.

Did you play Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles with friends? or alone? Cuz it's amazing with friends.

1080p is a new type of HD that blu-ray utilizes, so if you have an hdtv thats older than like 8 months you need a new to make ur blu-ray look better.

It's Linux-based not Linux. How does it support homebrew? Nothing supports homebrew thats t he point of it. Anything is vulnerable to homebrew, even the gamecube is hackable now.



EDIT: The cheap ps3 cost $500 not $400, and it's missing the HDMI port which is REQUIRED to play blu-ray movies. Not to mention an HDMI cable which is what you'll need when you get a ps3 runs about $70, it's not included with either package.

The Wi-Fi sounds cool, but the Internal Memory will only be like 512 Mb, I haver more on my PSP than that, By virtual Console do you mean were you pay to play games that you probably already own cartridges of or if not can go down to a game store and buy them a dollar a pop as apposed to 5.99 USD, I heard about there web browser, it's gonna be Opera, I was never too fond of Opera, why Not firefox?
