Daedalus R9 Expected Soon with Viewport Scaling!

Not just viewport scaling but also some minor glitches has been fixed from some roms while being unloaded onto the Famous Emulator.
Two of these roms include:
* Mario Kart
* Wave Race

VIEWPORT SETTINGS AND BUG FIXES

    Strmnrmn has set his final viewport settings scaled at 4:3 viewport:

    Strmnrmn sais it is contained at a 4:3 ratio so we can expect more, but has only scaled things up from 360 X 272 Width and Height of almost the same length and height of the PSPortable Screen.
    He sais that he has fixed a couple of bugs also related to his emulation of the N64 Viewport!

    While he was writing the GFX code for the PSP from N64, he forgot to set the translation of the viewport for some render scenes, which caused some problems in this shot of the car going off center on the screen:

    How has this been fixed? Simple! (for strmnrmn that is) Heres his viewport fix to make the car go in its certified place:

    After a suggestion by Chris Meyer-Raassow, in strmns email he was reccomened by chris to rather have the viewport ratio at 4:3 rather than at the PSP's 16:9.
    So the emulator should have the aspect to run better on 4:3.
    Some good bugfixes including the great viewport settings he has looked at, the next release will be due sometime before October.

Good Luck to strmnrmn!

He told me that sound probably wont be in the next version, he did say that Zelda 64 is going to be his main priority after debugging some new things on Mario Kart And Super Mario 64

Little? These are some big things!
And its running at fairly slow speed but its getting there, a huge 3D project emulation like N64 or PS1 is a very huge project, so just be patient.

j/w, what are the pink/black checkered textures? why do they appear in the places they do? and do you think SSB will ever be fully playable, considering it has lots of problems if you try and play it on R8?

thanks

The textures for the viewport settings kinda suck for SSB right now, the one for Super Mario 64 is amazing!
