The spammers that can be controlled are auto bots that they run an auto script, register, get validated, and post all in a matter of seconds. These auto-bots try to find phpbb forums that don't have any anti-spam MODs installed. But the spammers that are hard to control are those "live -bots" which are actual persons that go through the process of registering and gettting email validated and then they post their junk manually.

So, make sure you got the most up to date anti-bot-spam on your forum installed and then make sure that your moderators visit at least once a day to clean up the live-spam posts.

Shadox will surely unban you, all he has to do is break into one of the admins room, get into the admin panel, try not to get caught, and un ban you.
