I didn't need GTA to downgrade from 2.71 to 1.50. Dude, there are other ways now that are faster and quicker, plus safer!

sorry I've been eway everyone its just that ive been really busy..sorry though. I just read all your posts you guys but one thing still troubles me. Listen here whats really going on:
I have a downloaded 1.5 FW AND 2.0 FW when I try to downgrade to 2.0 it says: THE SYSTEM SOFTWARE ON YOUR PSP IS 2.60. THERE IS NO NEED TO UPDATE.NOW if I cant downgrade to 2.0 how to I expect to download to 1.5? this just doesnt fitt right. I downloaded from tha illegal link so its called. and am I downloaded 98 eloader downloaded 1.5 FW again. I put it in the update folder under the GAME folder. now when I instaled the eloader to my psp..I went on my psp under games and there waz nothing just something called DOWNTEST.I pressed x and then it said something that its corrupted..probably because I need GTA. so that 98 eloder has to have gta.NOW im looking for another way. without buying or stealing gta lcs. so any other ideas? reply

Is your a TA-082? to check it, open the UMD Drive, take out the UMD(if there is) and look on the very top right corner of the UMD drive, and look if it is a TA-082. If it's not, try this downgrader. -----> http://dl.qj.net/dl.php?fid=8566

By The Way:Run the eLoader to downgrade!

The problem is you are using a 2.00 EBOOT without the downgrader. Meaning you are trying to update to a lower firmware when you are all ready at a higher firmware. I really suggest using the Easy Downgrader from qj.net (or our downloads if we have it in there for that matter)

NO..I think you have the wrong idea. You c read what I just wrote b4 cause thats the problem. I tried that easy downgrade program you said. There were some files missiing though for the 2.60 user. Amm I hope it wouldnt be a problem to check for those missing files for the 2.60 user. Seriously. Anywayz any other ideas or solutions. they would come in real handy. So write back ya hear?:D

You could to try to update to 2.71 and then downgrade.
