I think some of my stuff > your stuff. I picked this beauty up recently: It's a 1918 Military issue WWI Luger manufactured by DWM. All external serial numbers are matching, 90% blue finish remaining, Bore condition good, original grip condition good, 9mm. You've got to give it to the Germans, each part was hand machined and stamped with the gun's number so that it was made for that gun and only that gun. Plus it appraised for $400 more than I paid for it!
I have a German WWII Mauser P38 coming to me just as soon as I receive my Class III Federal Firearms License (which should be soon). This allows one to buy military-type firearms more than 50 years old and have them shipped right to your door even over state lines!
This one was taken when I first got it, before I disassembled and cleaned it.
These pics were taken after the inside was cleaned thourghly with a toothbrush, solvent, oil, CLP, and qtips. the outside was also brushed well and detailed with qtips and toothpicks plus a dental pick set. The finish was protected using cloth slightly dampened with hopps9, then wiped dry and rubbed with a silicon cloth. Original takedown tool and original brass threaded cleaning rod with loop shown.
Germans are anal about every detail. Here you can see some of the many proofs that were stamped on military lugers to indicate that they passed various quality control measures.
