2.82 downgrade

All of you realize if any 2.8x downgrader actually exsisted the scene would be making a little bit more of a fuss.

well crait and his "freind" have a "hack" that might work, they are going to wait to test it on 2.82 if it dont work they will release it here on pspbrew first (i talked to crait about it) and if it works they are going to wait for 3.0 because ps1 emu + brew = kick @$$

What I think is, if he supposedly has a downgrader for 2.8, why not test and release it now and work on a 2.81/2 version later?

i pmed crait, i got my hands on a 2.82 and am willing to test using it. it will be on my memorystick, tested on my freinds psp (me performing the test), and then, work or no work, my memory stick will be removed and the file eventualy deleted. i am waiting for a reply from crait.

I'm not sure if it was already brought up, but what does this possible hack do exactly?

Is it like the downgrade method they used for 2.0: Trick 2.0 into thinking it's 1.0 so you can "upgrade" to 1.5?

you could put some flash games on your psp while waiting for some homebrew, it works for all flash enabled firmwares

I wonder if anyone has looked for a way to exploit 2.8x through flash, kinda like how they did it with Tiff exploits.
