Is the PS3 really that bad? Is Wii actually better?

please actually be serious here, I told my friend I was gonna get PS3 for christmas, then
he says he gonna get the Wii instead. Then my cousin told me the PS3 was 960$ at target and
told me I should'nt get it. Then Im looking all over youtube of people posting videos saying PS3 sucks, Wii
is better.

I mean wtf..what should I do? I mean MGS:4 I really wanna get that so badly, but I have a terrible
feeling about this and I dont like it.

idk man..it looks actually kind of fun of playing, with the control like its your actually in the game.

Get the Wii and Red Steel and Zelda: Twilight Princess and you will be more satisfied by this Christmas.. Next year get the PS3 and then it will be better.. You are waisting your time getting it this year.. But if you want the best you can get, get a 360!

PS3 = Adultish, with sweet graphics and amazing game play, with adult games like war games etc etc...

well thats not really true cause Im getting MGS:4 and Im not really into Zelda type games
I'll probably get some games with it next year that will probably be better, and some other cool stuff just for time being.

Wii for graphics, dont count on it, but for gameplay yes, count on it
Count on PS3 for both of those, and quality.

well I think I be better off with the PS3 this year and heres what I think why..

Nintendo-seen the videos, even though the Wii has good gameplay and fun motion movements and all...
the games are all kidy games and they are getting kind of boring to me, been
feeling that way ever since I've been playing the gamecube and nintendo itself
all my life. Trust me ever since I got the Gamecube for Xmas it was really starting
to get boring after the past few months.

Xbox-boring ever since I got it for Xmas along with Halo 2: could'nt get into the gameplay, just
nothing but shooting aliens and what not. The only thing I could enjoy was the movie.

Sony Playstation- ahhh now thats the heaven world of video games and also for good entertainment,
all the video games were amazingly good, the graphics were nothing horrible to it at all, the king video
games of playstation I really enjoyed were: GTA, Metal Gear Solid(which is my all time favorite!!)...well
what else is there for me to say? the games are fun, it has more and even better gameplay and graphics
that Sony has never failed.

True dat on nintendo, they always bring out pathetic games (except some actual good games like zelda) they dont bring out things like scar face or Socom, or Far Cry.

I agree with mailas on this but nintendo will have some good ones coming in the new year:

-super mario galaxy
-metroid prime 3
-smash bros brawl

nintendo should start getting into adultish games cuz thats wat kids and adults wont to play. that is why id think nintendo will lose this battle of the next gen systems cuz of the games it brings out. dont get me wrong nintendo is fun and all but needs more games, and after awhile of making the same game over and over and over again like super mario it gets really annoying.

But with sony they make a franchise of 3 or 4 maybe 5 games like GTA (GTA, GTA2, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, and the up coming GTA5) then the psp versions like making more then 5 gets annoying, and the fun just dies after awhile.

Even tho the graphics are not the best for WII it will still be fun for like a month then it kinda dies down but with the playstaion 3 they will come out with like new games of different series....

Then WII has all the sports pack and music pack things don't get me wrong they are kool but who wonts to be moving up and down and side to side for like 3 hours of tennises or somthing? Also WII games are a bit to easy on the other hand with sony they are hard but also make easy ones but with like mini games so you can enjoy it longer......

But in the end if you could have the PS3 , WII, and the XBOX360* you are still going to get bored after a few months or weeks of playing it....


I think that you should just be happy of wat you got right now and dont even bother getting them cuz in 5 years max another system of some kind will come out and everybody will wont it and guess wat 5 months down the road you wont something new... (5 years max cuz the gaming technology cant get any higher then it is right now cuz we already have max out wat we know about graphics and game speed and many other things.... and since the start of time technology has up dated around 4 to 5 years max) cuz remember when we said you couldn't get higher graphics then the NES look we where wrong it did remember when we said the graphics or the playstaion 2 and xbox couldn't get any better it did... we will never be satisfied of whatever we get.... its the meaning of life........

I use to play Super Smash Brothers
Super Mario for Nintendo64

and last year I've been excited on
playing Melee and Super Mario Sunshine
for the gamecube and got really super boring
after 1 month of playing them.

I totally agree what your saying there, I say just get what you really want and what which console
think thats best for you.

Yea, PS3 obviously comes out in graphics lol.

yea it will obviously do great in graphics and game play, but the reason i like it the most is that it has firmwares you can download and that it looks like the psp lol
