corrupt save file

hey guys i have a corrupt save file and ( me being weird ) hate to see the sign
when i try to delete it it tells me that i have failed to delete the saved file. I went
into my savedata directory and saw a all the files to be normal and one that is 3.68gb
and my memory card is only a 2gb... is there anything dangerous about deleting a saved
file? and its got alot of weird files inside it.

OH incase this is in the wrong section, please move it for me mods ^^ as i didnt know where
this one would go.

..and if that doesn't work, simply format your memory stick. :)

now another problem came up. Mailas G my laptops now doesnt find my USB connection
for my PSP, not due to the formating of the memory card but due to my laptops autoshutdown
when my PSP was connected. Is there a way to fix this?

i pulled the battery out for more then 30 seconds tried and it didnt work. should i leave it for longer?

1) Restart your computer
2) Full turn off your PSP (hold the power button for 15 seconds)
3) Turn your computer back on
4) Turn your PSP back on
5) Connect the USB from the PSP to the computer
6) If it doesn't work, please post a reply

1) Plug in your USB to your PSP to your PC
2) Go to: My computer
3) Then if should say something on the screen like "Removable Disk (Z:)
4) If that doesn't work, then reply back

when i go to my computer there is no other drive usually F: for my PSP or G if i got something else in but
nothing is there. when i plug it in it will sometimes show up and sometimes not in the USB ports. i have
tried using a USB flash drive to check if the USB sockets themselves work or not. they still do

I can never understand that kind of problem, but I have solved it once using my first set of steps and it worked fine. Anyways, I think it is your PC but I can be wrong. Oh well, as long as you for it sort of working.
