ya its an amazing accomplishment!!

I recently decided to take a plunge back into doing low-level coding. Coincidently I was searching for stuff on PSP and came across the remarkable activity that homebrew and pspbrew communities are doing.

I would also like to dive-in and see what I can do to contribute, but to be able to do that, I need to downgrade my PSP (ta081) that I bought in Switzerland earlier this year from FW 2.82 EU 1004. Please provide me with pointers ...

lol you cant nor will you be able to downgrade anytime soon

there might be a firmware 3.00 hack so its not the end of the world (i hope)

it might be a while though becuase they havent even found an exploit for 3.0 yet. They are working on 2.8 right now

update. the is the same amount of chance of it working for 3.01 as 2.82

I found a dowgrader for version 2.82. I now have version 2.81 but I really want to dowgrade to 2.80 or lower so I'm gonna post a link and please, someone test the 2.82 downgrader and say if it works and to what version it downgrades.

Well, if you don't want to try it out because you never heard of a 2.82 downgrader, it's not a pretty good idea because to make a downgrader famous, someone has to try it!

the link doesnt even work and i think it would be in the news of all the psp sites if there was a 2.82 downgrader
