question about 3.02

like i said before, i am completely oblivious to any new

hacks, mods, cracks, or alterations to the PSP. can anyone

fill me in on the 3.02 oe-a? (<<if that\'s how you spell it).

what does it do?...or from what im hearing...what DOESN\'T it do?

and also, is it a legit playstation update?

I have it, and from what I know, there is a way to downgrade to 1.5 anytime.. You can also play any PSOne games on there that are available to buy on the PS3 (most you can now find online ).. I like it, but I know other users here can tell you a lot more about it..

3.02 OE-A is an update made by a man named Dark_AleX.

What it is is a "hacked" update that includes 1.5 Kernal Access in the 3.02 Update.

This means that any homebrew that you have that works for 1.5 or 1.0 will work on this new 3.02.

It also allows you to run ISOs and CSOs directly off of the XMB, they will be located in the game section along will all your homebrew.

Dark_AleX took the time to hack the Utility Manager so that you can now share PSX ISOs (that have been formatted to fit and play on the PSP by Sony themselves) over the net.

What doesn't it do? As of now (but not for long) there is currently only one application that allows modification of flash such as backgrounds,gameboots,fonts etc. but this application sucks. So we are waiting on Art to come out with a new version of X-Flash.

This is not a legit Sony Update, it is a combonation of two legit updates.

And if you are ever displeased you can use the recovery menu to downgrade back to a clean 1.5. This can also be used to recover from a bricked PSP!

PSP_Man, I can hook you up with an auto installer, all you have to do is run an exe with your PSP Pluged in then run an app and ta-sa, 3.02 OE-A

By installing this thing means that I can run downloaded games on my psp again? My little sister accidentially upgraded it to 2.82, and I am desperate to get to play the games that I've downloaded.
