what are you talking about mailas, your way is harder, y should ew turn it into a notepad and do a whole buch of other stuff just to rename it when we can simply right click and click "rename" The notepad stuff is just the longer way.
and you have to rename it to "rom.gba" not ROM. Have you forgotten what i taught you?

to necrophilac
"So I guess this means that I can only have one rom on there at a time?"
well technicaly speaking, yea. But theres a way to place more roms in. I think it was called vba rom selector. Its a seperate app that allows you to play more than just one rom.

So i explained it to you personaly on msn till you got it. But if you say my method didnt work, (which clearly at that time, did.) then alright, it didnt work.

I'm assuming you first remove the text file that is called something like "Place here rom.gba". When I placed my rom titled "rom.gba" in the folder with that text file I got one of those 8 hundered thousand something errors where it takes you back to the PSP dashboard thing. When I removed the text file and tried to run VBAPSP it caused the PSP to shut off completely. WTF?

did you place your rom.gba file in the folder without the % sign? Cause thats where your suppose to place it. Nowere else.

Put it in the following directory

"PSP"---> "GAME"---"VBAPSP" (or a similar folder) thats it, do not place it in a "roms" folder if you have one.

Ive been putting the roms in the non % file and I'm pretty sure that there isn't a roms folder in there. I guess I'll check when I get home. :? Perhaps the roms I have are no good. Should that "place rom.gba here" text file be deleted or not? The PSP only shuts itself off if I dont have that text file there, otherwise It just brings me back to the menu screen and gives me that numerical error message. In any case I dont like the fact that my psp is shutting itself off like that.

i dont know whats wrong, ive never experienced the psp shutting itself off before. Ive converted my own VBA emulator, so ive never seen the "put rom here" messege. So i guess you could delete it.

ok, just rename the whole entire folder (the one without the % sign) to "VBAPSP" and the one with the % to "VBAPSP%" Or go to the brewpack generator, and download the VBA emu again, this time, UN-CHECK the "make corrupt file hidden" just download the zip, not self extract.

Also, delete that "place gba rom here" file thats in your "VBAPSP" folder
