Can I emulate with my PSP?

Yo everyone! Yes I'm a n00b as my posts imply, I have however taken some time to read up quite a bit on what I can and cannot do with my PSP but I'm just getting more and more confused as I continue so....help please!

I got a new PSP for Christmas (yay!) and it's part of the "PSP Entertainment Pack". It has 2.71 (couldn't tell if it's SE or SC or what?) and unfortunately it is a TA-082 mobo.

After reading up on the newest OE-A/B I was pretty stoked, except for the fact that my frickin mobo won't let me do anything....or will it, is there anything I can do with my new PSP to emulate, and to emulate safely without risk of bricking or frying it?

Thanks Mailas G, don't think I'm gonna try that one though, seems to be similar if not exactly what was disproven and put down in another thread. I may just have to wait till someone comes up with something new so I'll be checking the site often.

Im not sure if its official, but if its on psp-hacks, then it works. Other than that, keep checking our downloads section if its up or not.
