1.50 - 2.71 Custom Firmware HX-A

Hello, i have just dropped by a visit at the forums to inform you all of a Custom FW that i am programming right now:

HX-A

HX-A is a custom FW for versions 1.50 - 2.71 that gives you all of the features from 3.03.

The HX-A is almost complete but i need these bugs worked out:

-The Camera function will freeze when clicked on.
-If you Hardboot the psp when you turn it back on the screen will play the Coldboot and them wait 1 minutes to load.
-some games that need 3.X will run slowly, to fix this run devhook and load the 3.03.

ugh, again, there are more people who try to leech off of DAX's work all the time, and this just contributes.

he have 3.02 OE-B so we don't need this, use DAX's stuff!

I am sorry to inform you all that i had fixed the camera bug known to freeze the psp but unfortunatly that took alot of editing of various files and i had to thrown in a few extra prx's to aid in the load, unfortunatly after i did all of that there was a problem with the ammount of free space in flash and it bricked my psp. i will not be releasing this publicly because it will cause your psp to fry.

Hey dont flame and say that this work isnt needed.at one time even "Dark_Alex" was a noob,so lets just see how this ends up,we may not have dark_alex forever(heaven forbid)

Don't tell me what my opinion should be.

people have already tried to make their own Custom Firmwares stealing names like SE and they sucked, that is why DAX changed the name for 3.02, by encouraging punks lke these you further tarnish DAX's work.

Besides by the way this sounds he was making another 1.5 custom firmware and maybe one for 2.71 but thats why theres a downgrader.

this work isn't needed.

so keep to your own damn opinion and don't tell me what mine is.

"homebrew" isnt needed, custom firmwares are not needed, its just fun, and this guy is just trying to have a lil fun, dark_alex dosent to it becuase he has too, he dose it because he enjoys it, hes not payed to do it, so stop complaining because dark_alex could stop at any moment. or do u live just to mess with ur psp?

what Dark_AleX does he doesn't have to release, it's his creation, and he gives it yo us for us to enjoy, when people steal his ideas and leech off of his work it shows that people don't respect his work, so thats what would make him quit, so until he tosses in the towel or passes the baton, I will continue to support him, and despise his leechers.

how do u know this guy is using the same program or w/e it is. maby he coded his own. and im not saying i dont like Dark_AleX, heck he made it so i could get to 1.5 from my 2.6, im just saying that we cant depend upon 1 person, its good to have back ups.

I never said he is using DAX's methods. but he is stealing DAX's ideas of a custom firmware (remember, DAX invented the first 1.5 custom firmware). You call this a "Back-up". this is not a back up since we have something that works just like this that has been previously released, and what happens when DAX leaves, then leechers like these run out of ideas to steal, so they become just as useless as before.

well, whats the point of this. it's already out, he is using DAX's ideas. did he ask DAX for permission or for approval of any of these actions, most likely not.

Lets say you came up with a substance that produced twice the crops yeild of normal fertilizers, then, you released it, I came out with the same substance, using a different method that I was able to sell cheap and make even cheaper. it's not fair to DAX to have some newbie come along, steal his idea, and get credit when Darl_AleX already has his ideas out there and have made these things work sucsessfully.
