hi im new to psp homebrews i got a 2.8, if anyone can help me load some home brews that would be great let me know all the things i need to down load and how to do it plz help a noobie

How more specific can I get. Obviously you wouldnt check the UMD, if he looks inside the UMD Drive then he doesnt see it, its easy to spot

Irish since you do not have a TA-082 please use the 2.80 downgrader.

I don't have a TA-082 board, but the 2.80 still doesn't work!
I have IC6001 written whatever board that is, and my PSP is an original PSP1000 model..

When did you ht your PSP?
