2.60 firmware with a TA-082 motherboard

okey i finally got my hands on a new psp with a 2.60 firmware and a ta-082 motherboard and want to downgrade.

Should i first upgrade to 2.71 firmware then downgrade or should i go straight into downgrading it from a 2.60.

Which one is safer and which one has a less chance of bricking my psp.

Is it the best firmware? The firmware that:
Now Easily Compresses ISOS and Playstation Games
Plays Playstation 1/PSX Games
Allows you to go to the other famous 1.50 firmware with 1.50 kernal
Allows you to recovery your PSP
Gives you access to many PS3 uses without even having to own a ps3
Lets you flash almost anything out there mostly for 1.50
Lets you play any emulator available
Lets you play any homebrew available
Lets you play any application available
Lets you browse the internet
and grants you the force
.........

is the best firmware ever.
