naw, I have over 2,300 roms on my computer. I'm all for piracy actually, it's just that most people complain that the games aren't worth the money... and I ask them, "do you buy them?"... "no"... "well then why would someone make a good game that people were just going to steal?"

Bottom line, I love my psp. I love great games for it as well. If I steal the great games, nobody is going to want to make them.

I didn't used to think that piracy was big on the psp, but after ps1 emulation was made possible "to people without a ps3" I realized just how big things really were. It's so big that directions/ help for installing custom firmware is even on Sony's forums... now, true, they can't sue somebody over free code... but they CAN censor their forums b/c it is THEIR forum... and they choose not to.

makes you think what Sony's true intentions are...

*edit* You can perform a firmware dump with x-flash

odd story actually. My psp quit playing UMD's once... just out of the blue. My disc tray kinda comes out from the psp a little (doesn't line up perfectly flush to the back) and I was perfectly fine playing nothing but NES homebrew on my psp for about 2 months. Nearly sent it in to Sony too... had the return form filled out, psp in the box to be shipped and everything. But it was a Sunday, and I saw someone with the same problem online.

They said they hit it firmly with the palm of their hand................. it worked afterwards

apparently it is a very common issue with if you bought a 1.50, 1.51, 1.52, or 2.00 psp... I think that someday I will get a new psp and sell this one b/c it is getting worn pretty well. I take perfect care of it, just like my friends. My friend has had his longer and it is in much better condition than mine. Sucks, but I can deal with it as long as it works/ doesn't look f**ked up.

hahahahaha

I had problems with my screen protector too... SO BAD. In fact, I bought my psp on July 17 '05 and I never once had a good screen protector (that looked decent) until a few weeks ago when my girlfriend got an ipod and I recommended that she just get a psp screen protector and cut out the amount that she needed for her ipod. She decided to be extra nice and buy a 2-pack of screen protectors and gave me the second one.
