I don't even know if it's possible but I would like to be able to include emulators into the custom firmware like devhook is now. then just launch my roms from the xmb. I wish I didn't have to take the extra step of launching Nester J just to play my NES games. Just an idea.

-no seriously, it would be cool to run dedalious w/o it being in slow motion. if we can run ps1,
why cant we run n64 :?:

we were able to get PSX running because Sony provided the emulator

This emulator is made from scratch which means it's not as easy.

For multiplayer support Firefoxx, the PSX bios would also be cool
since the XMB would look kick donkey.

...... the screen is really bright, and that can't be done with a firmware update anyways I think...

i think they should fix the battery problem because on the custom firmware the battery wastes a lot faster

Well theres nothing that can be done about that because of the extra features it could be taking some power.

they should unlock the 4th brightness level by default. There is a module for this but it only works when playing ps1 or something.

as with other emulators being implemented into the firmware, that just won't work. Besides that though, which is a neat idea when you first think about it... I would HATE my psp being cluttered by roms (usually I have 300+ at LEAST) and trying to find them to play them. I like them being sorted alphabetically in the application that runs them.

getting the 4 brightness is possible because you can get it when your plugged into the power, so it is hackable.

You can get the psp to stick on the 4th brightness by doing this.

1. plug the psp in and make it at the 4th brightness level
2. load a homebrew app like Nester or something
3. when it is showing the gameboot screen, just unplug the power cable and the psp will stay on 4th power. If you press the brightness button it will change back to only being able to use 1-3 brightness levels though.

But still, it would be so much better to just have it available from the button...

And we NEED .dax support. It took me psx emulation to convince me to change from version 1.50 and all of my isos were in .dax... so I personally want it b/c I don't want to reconvert all of my files to .cso b/c .dax is known/ proven to be better than .cso
