question about ISOs

when you download ISOs for your psp, what do the different "parts" mean?

theres links part 1, part 2 do I have to put them together or just put them in
the ISO folder all sperate?

you just need to have all of the parts in the same directory all you have to do is extract part 1 and winrar will combine all of them together into one. They are just divided into parts for security and to manage the size so they can upload them

yep that sounds about rite, and if not auto maticly winrar or something like umdgen can combine em

well all the parts are sperated into their own winrar file, can it still combine once they are all on the PSP?

no you need to extract part 1 on your computer and winrar will combine all of the parts together and you will get an iso out of it

okay I see....so when I try to extract it to my psp I get something like I need a volume or something.
does that explain it?

umm dont really understand you but i will tell you what i do. I put all the parts on my desktop (sometimes you need to rename them) and extract the first part. Then you get a folder with the iso in it

heres what I get when I try to extract one.

the parts refer to the fact that do to the size of the file it had to be broken in to parts during the zip or rar prosses so you need all the parts to unpack the iso. you only need to start unpacking the first one and it will do the rest

okay, look at my image above, I cant extract the first part for some reason.

do you have part 2? if so is it in the same folder?

its in a seperate winrar file. Im guessing Im suppose to extract this first?

you mean this? this what it keeps saying where part 2 is suppose to be in. its not in there, am suppose to
put in there first?
