I HAVE A SNOW DAY TOO!!!!

I live in lower west Michigan and we have been getting pounded by snow and stuff, and it was projected that we would have 1-4 more inches today b/c of Lake Michigan (we get lake effect snow b/c the lake is "warm" so moisture rises and = snow for us).

HOWEVER

It turns out that they were wrong about how far the snow would reach and I am far enough inland that when I look outside I see more snow MELTING than anything. It hasn't snowed all day. I live in a pretty strict school district too as far as snow days go. My school district hardly EVER gives them out and I was f**king amazed that they did when they only projected 1-4 inches... so the district told the city to just plow the main roads and not worry about bus routes or anything... and they were probably regretting that b/c by the time people were about to head out to the buses it was nice out (about 0 degrees, but nice nonetheless).

maybe it's just melting at my house b/c of all the hot valentines action I'm getting... yea, that's probably it. But I don't have school so it makes the action all the better.
