dark alex network update

Dark alex has just realease the network update for custom firmware wat are your opinions on this

since it doesn't install the firmware I think it is a good thing.

well I guess it makes the network update feature actually somewhat useful lol

I like doing everything manually so I won't use it, but I like it quite a lot.

LOL there goes you're guys ez installer trend.Ya i dont even like easy installers so i know i wont use this.You know this may be stupid thing to ask,but since this is using a sony feature to install somthing sony hates.It brings to mind,is there any way that you could have a custom firmware in a eboot.Since sony games think (3.03 oe-x) is 3.03 ,would the system let you run the update. ???

Good Question. I would think if it were possible though, DA would have done it already.

it would prbly be harder than u guys think, DA would have to pay for a specif sever for his updates, he would have to set the update site in the rco to his new server, and it couldnt be in ebbot form like sony's seeing that it is not a "psar" its a "daxar"

thats not the problem.. the actual upgrading is the problem.
