i herd a rumour...

i was out today and herd that some of the newer umds auto update or patch the firmware to stop us from hacking and using custom firmware dose anyone have any info on this or is it just crap?

that would suck if it was true, but asddasit has a point there.

Im guessing this isnt true,by the law you can run any firmware you want.an by auto installing it would be forcing you to update.I think that it would go in the same place as a virus.so im saying this isnt true.
