COMPLETELY STUFFED OR WHAT?!?!

well i am shaking so much!!! i just hope i havent stuffed up my psp... well i got the 2.71 downgrader... and i was going through the tutorial and just after you get the files on your psp then the thing starts to flash after you goto photos then the psp turns off then you turn it back on and it is SUPPOSED to come up with the error message... IT DIDNT!!! then it came up with a RED SCREEN then went black.. and now it wont load at all.... HAVE I STUFFED THIS UP OR WHAT!!!!!!!..... OMG IT STILL WONT LOAD THE MENU!!!.... i am so close to going crazy right now....?!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!?

I don't know what to say on this except next time (if there is), follow the 3.03 downgrade tutorial. It's safer and has more reliable results.

Make extra precaution before concluding the end of your PSP. Fully charge your PSP, turn it back on and see if it really is gone for good. If so, sorry man :S Getting a mod chip is my suggestion if it is bricked.

A mod chip acts like a secondary BIOS in case your motherboard BIOS dies. The 3.03 downgrade is a recommended tutorial regardless of what kind of motherboard you have. You would first upgrade your PSP from 2.71 to 3.03 by putting the EBOOT on your memory stick. I'm assuming you have a non-patched GTA: LCS (it will say show something like "2.00 update" in your GAME portfolio in the menu). You'll be needing that. Just look at the tutorial and follow along if all else fails.

I think it's a safer method because there's no way you can brick it unless the person reading the directions was illiterate xD
