I might as well download it, theres so much malicious activity going around through
the websites these days.

I like it, even the tool they use called phishing warns me about bad pages and I can click

Firefox is great too because malicious spy ware cant get to ya
it warns you of any addons or plugins being downloaded and prompts you to activate or disable or remove it once its on the system

oh, and macromedia flash can cause pop ups and pop unders in ie and Mozilla Firefox
in mozilla, however, you can disable them
to do it, do this
type about:config in the Mozilla web browser address bar
hit enter
whoa! thats cool! i feel so 1337 and hacker! oh, shut up
and next right click anywhere and itll say new on the pop up menu
then click on it, and then on integer when it appears
then itll ask you something and you type in "privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins" without the ""
then itll say something else again about value or something
type in 2 for that one

firefox is just another browser for most people, but for people that utilize the plugins I think it is the best browser out there. Built in ad blocker and spell check are just extras to me but still appreciated. I really like my chatzilla plugin for firefox - for IRC. Firefox just makes my life easier overall.
