IR- Mode for PSP

hey 2 all
i was wondering 'bout some little thing and i haven't found an answer yet
anyone knows how to use the ir-port for psp?
cause there's no entry in the os where you can turn it on/off?

any suggestions or answers?

yea theirs a homebrew called sony remote i think pspupdates.com has it u can contol all sony tvs and sony dvds players and the new slim ps2s with it

and ir file transfer
