help downgrading from 2.80 firmware

Hi all

This is all new to me and i am finding it quite hard.
I have a 2.80 frimware and i am told by friends that i cant downgrade to 1.5, i have looked on the other topics but i canot find anything about this

Is this true?

I am a bit scared to try as it is my son's PSP and he would dis-own me if i did something to it.

Any help would be appreciated

ok. First off, smack your friends in the head.

Now that we got that out of the way, your going to have to upgrade to 3.03 then downgrade to 1.5 and from there i suggest upgrading to custom firmware 3.03 oe-c.

Your going to need an unpatched version of GTA:LCS
easiest way to tell if its unpatched...
copyright 2005 = unpatched
copyright 2006 = patched
To double check make sure it read "PSP 2.00 ver update" on your xmb

downgrader to 1.5

upgrader from 1.5 to 3.03 oe-c
