hrm.. Is it suppose to do this?

I have a PSP with version 2.80 on it trying to downgrade to 1.50 I have tried every single package I could find and even PSPBrew.com tutorial packages.. And even played around with the placment of the files.
The problem is when I go to HEN_280 or the HEN folder.. It just looks like it is doing nothing and than just goes black, turns itself off pretty much. When I turn it back on it still says version 2.80

Any ideas?

Oh and I have the TA-082 motherboard..

When you are following guides and nothing seems to work, what I do is print the guide and then cross out the steps as I do them. It never fails (unless the guide is written badly).

Try clicking the "Slideshow" option, it worked for me.

To view a slideshow, highlight the HEN folder, and click Triangle, then simply select Slideshow.

Okay.. Slideshow works.. But now it just stays at the blue screen and doesn't restart. And when I manually restart it doesn't work.. How long does it normally take? I see that the M on the left hand above the Wifi status indicator flashes for abit than it goes off.

Wait for it to completely stop blinking and restart on it's own, I would suggest just replacing the files entirely. It works, it worked for me.

Yes, that's always the best backup plan. If something doesn't work - reformat and retry. Just make sure to have your savedata backed up on the computer

Okay.. I give up trying to do 2.8 -> 1.5 I'm going to try to put it down to 2.71 than go that way.

HAHA! YES.. I just got home from the dentist and BAM it worked.. Sweet.

Thanks for your help.. For those stuck in the same problem I recommend http://forums.qj.net/f-guides-hacks-hom ... 90737.html tutorial and files. And keep trying, it might take 20 times.. But try giving it a day or so and try again

what did u say u have a TA thing...and last time i check u can only downgread a TA from 2.71?????

I downgraded my 2.80 to 1.50 using HEN 2.80 (On the qj forum link)

The Motherboard used to be a problem, but it's no problem now.

Congrats on getting to 1.5 now be sure to get a Custom Firmware.

The newer downgraders are much more user friendly in that manner.
