I would like to view streaming video on my browser.

Here's the breakdown. I just bought a PSP finaly with my school loan money. Always wanted a hand-held since my game gear back in the day. Anyhow. I bought TMNT with it and it updated my PSP to version 2.82. I am not interested in downgrading or any of that homebrew stuff atm because I have absolutely no clue what I do with it. All I would like to do for now is stream videos for example, I would like to watch the hockey games live on cbcsports.ca while I have my after work baths. I would like to view funny stuff on youtube while I am at school or board to tears while my son is in bed. I notice the format has something to do with media player. I have searched for everything to do with this but I am horribly dull when it comes to searching for things I have no idea about. Also, I set my homepage to canucks.com and it says i need IE6 or higher to view that website. Any answers to help me get on my way would be very good. Thank you.

EDIT: If you guys don't want to write paragraphs, a simple link to a page that I can get exactly what I need without jumping around everywhere will do just fine too. Thanks

There is a tv on psp program, but I don't know specifics about it. I think it's actually called tvonpsp lol, but anyways, for streaming already-made media files you can use the pimp streamer or w/e. You can use the RSS feature to get access to videos also. The first two of those options need to have homebrew enabled, and even if you weren't planning on using homebrew ever, I'd advise that you just downgrade your version 2.82 and make it so that homebrew is enabled to you for the future. Upgrading to a custom firmware is a great choice for anyone ;)

Tutorials are in our tutorial list.

So I read around and I found that you need GTA to down grade 2.82 or something like that. Is there a diferent way by downloading a file I can downgrade my version or is GTA the only known source?

This is the only known source. Basically to be able to downgrade there needs to be an exploit. As of right now GTA:LCS unpatched 2.00 version is the only known source for this exploit if your using firmware 2.81 - 3.03. I recomend checking a local video store for a copy of gta:lcs...ask them if you can check it out before they ring it up just to make sure the game update shows up as 2.00. If it shows up as 2.60 then its a patched version which doesnt have the exploit need.

Nice Avatar :D

The old one will have a 2.0 update the new one will have a 2.6 or 2.8 update. The box looks a little different too but i dont have pictures of it.

I have a link that goes much more in-depth. I will post it later tonight at around 9-11PM because I am at school and don't have access to it.
