2.60 TA-082 questions

Got a few questions about downgrading my psp. I have a 2.60 version with a TA-082 mobo (has the IC-1003). Can I just upgrade it with a copy of Dungeon Seige 2.71 and use the 2.71 tutorial http://www.pspbrew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6810 to downgrade to 1.50. And do I need any chips or anything to use some / all / or none of the homebrews (sorry pretty new just trying to read up on all this stuff and wanna confirm a few things before I do this) Also can I put one of the OE's on it after I make it a 1.50. Thanks for any help.

Sweet good to know thanks for the help. no extra chance of bricking it since I have a TA-082 and putting say a 3.30 oe on it? (just paranoid because someone told me otherwise in another board and they seemed a bit shakey)

EDIT: WOW very easy with that tutorial when I did the hen d the first time got a blue then red screen but all is good have a 1.50 very happy I dont have a $160 paper weight now just one more stress going to choose my OE =) Just wanna make sure that I can put an OE on this (just a paranoid) Thanks for your time and help prob will have more questions hope i dont annoy anyone. and thanks again for the tutorial and all the work on the software.

EDIT PT2: Took the plunge read up and did a 3.40 oe-a and it worked very nicely woot so happy. Thanks to all dev's and DAX
