Dude, try taking out you Topmenu rco file and putting the original back in, I`ve had the same problem with topmenu`s from bubbles theme and one or two others.

If this doesn`t work, I don`t know what else to tell you except just keep testing out which files in the flash are doing this.

Also, I remember when some UMD games would do that to my friends 2.71 Sone FW PSP. What it is is something akin to a bad cd/dvd in the cd tray in your PC and windows doesn`t seem to want to bootup or continue functioning until you take it out.

Blackz man...SONY firmware doesnt have a recovery menu. This is something that was implemented into custom firmware by Dark Alex himself...not SONY.

Well if it is Sony firmware, there isn't much you can do. What caused this problem in the first place? Did it just randomly pop up or what?

it most likely went to the blue screen because you updated your firmware from something lower to something high. the lower firmwares didnt have internet so when you upgrade to the newer firmwares a blue screen pops up saying you need to restore settings something or other then asks you to press o to fix it. That blue screen was not recovery and had nothing to do with it.
