Problems with upgrade

I upgraded my friends PSP and it seemed to work fine. The first issue is everytime it
boots the recovery menu appears and I cannot find away to disable this issue. The
other problem is the PS1 games load ok but when I hit the Home button to change the
screen the system locks up. I have tried 3.30 and 3.40 SE versions.
Any suggestions?

Is the R trigger stuck?

I checked that first off since that made the most sense.
But all of the buttons appear to work fine.
What do I need to place the PS1 games into with 3.30/3.40?
They work fine from the Game folder on my PSP.
I have none of these issues with my PSP. The only
problem I have with mine is with the CSO and ISO files as
stated in my other post. All the PS1 games I converted work PERFECT!!
