OMFG My wii just bricked for no reason!

People don't think sometime
althouhgh now all of you might hate me for this but
Wii has cheap graphics, throw away a few hundred bucks for something that you will play for a month, with games you probably beat 10 years ago and is there any good games that dosent have an italian plummer with shooting games with S***T for controlls
...with xbox 360 wow thats even worse,WTF you pay 70bucks for online play plus you have to buy HDDVD drive, wifi and other afilities sepratly and if it happens to tip over your game disc will be scrached up finally the ring of fire. the xbox has only like 2 good games

All I can say is you really can't knock the Wii if you don't own one...
There are plenty of good games for the Wii... it's funny you mention Mario because there are only 2 games I can think of that even have him as a character... lol.
I am now at over 100 games. Lots of great titles and really fun games.

i dont own any of them. but you dont need to. i know all of the stats on each console. the wii is the gamecube with a fancy controller

I guess the ps3 and xbox are for people who play games by them self's or with others online, or just don't have any friends or family that comes over. To tell the truth, I never play any of my consoles at all if it's by myself. I play my Wii though all the time with my friends. I guess it can be considered a party favor, but I just love it when people are over. Everyone loves playing it. So there's no way I'll get a ps3 or xbox unless some really really good 4 player games come out that a lot of people can play other then just teenagers.

i play with my dad through xbox live its about the only time we get to hang out. and my friends i play with too. thats not to say i dont have a life though.

Well don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying no one has a life. I just meant the Wii is funner to play with people in person and not over the internet. And about everyone can play the Wii. So I didn't mean to say it like I was bein mean to nobody or nothing.

I guess it all depends on what games you play. I own 1 FF game... X-2 I think. Can't remember... never even finished it. I get bored with long games like that. I know a lot of you have played/finished many a RPG, but I just don't have the patience for them.

I also don't care for elaborate stories and games with all these beautiful cut scenes. If I'm playing a video game, I want to play, not sit and watch movies. As I've gotten older I've had less and less time to play video games. The Wii is nice because a lot of the games allow you to pick it up for maybe 30 mins or less and play, save, and quit. It's a fun little system that I don't have to dedicate serious time to like many other games. It's also great for when friends come over and drink or just hang out.

If I had the money to pick up a 360 or PS3, I would definitely do so. The thing is I just don't have the time to play video games to justify spending that much money.

I know what you mean, its super annoying when you start a game and there is a 30 minute intro video before you start playing
