FW update 3.0- 3.5 shown as corrupt file on psp

when i download the psp FW update 3.5 and put it on psp/game/update
it shows as a corrupt file, than it tried 3.0 same thing.
i currently have 2.82 version fw
how can i upgrade to 3.5 fw?

why are you trying to upgrade to those firmwares? just downgrade to 1.5
and upgrade to custom firmware, its much easier.

"PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP" if that dosn't work, try renaming the EBOOT.PBP to UPDATE.PBP

I would suggest not updating to version 3.50. I would downgrade using the 3.00 downgrader like Slick suggested. I'd consider it a safer/ easier method of downgrading, even though the 3.50 downgrader is fairly safe as well.

yeah, I have used it about 7 different times, all successful I might add.

i dont have GTA original
but i have greatest hits of lumines that is why

it still reads it as corrupted file even changeing eboot to update
im getting a headache
