God of War Chains of Olympus for PSP Slim & Lite

God of War Chains of Olympus for PSP Slim & Lite coming March 4th ‘08.

According to GameSpot God of War: Chains of Olympus will be hitting store shelves on March 4th in 2008. This first God of War PSP is a prequel on the original God of War that came out on the Sony PlayStation 2. Later this month a UMD demo of the game will be coming out to kill time while waiting for the full game. The God of War: Chains of Olympus demo for PSP Slim & Lite will be online downloadable as well.

This means that M33 or other hacking teams better start working because I want to play this game.

actually there was a limited demo release already. it was announced a few months back by sony on their site, cant remember when they really released it but it was a real hassle for god of war fans to get it. I'll try looking for a news link for it to back up my info.

*edit* (sorry if you guys already know this) here is the info I promised http://www.gamespot.com/psp/action/godo ... id=6169676
Image I'm rocking Dark-Alex's 3.71m33 firmware with his 1.50 kernel update for the fat psp.............I want a slim now >.<!

It will be for the normal and the fat but the firmware will have to be updated on the fat psp's so thats why I said the hacking teams need to get to work. Also the demo's will be coming out in the next couple of months.

Ok. The way it sounded was it HAD to use the cache feature and so it would only be able to be played on the #2.

I would guess this will be a game you will want to play on the #2 though with the cache feature.

I'm really interested in the faster load times and it appears that Sony fixed everything that I would occasionally gripe about regarding the first model. I also want to be on the forefront of psp hacking, but we'll see.

I would like to get two but don't have the money. The reason why two is because then I can hack one, and keep the other one up-to-date with Sonys real firmware so I can screw with it.

I wouldn't recommend that. T-O-N-S of people did that with the old generation PSP, but then hackers come along and make things like Pandora's Battery that completely make having a second PSP for modding useless, because it's 100% safe to just mod your main unit. Now, with Pandora's Battery already out, I would never buy two of the new model.

These new style psp's just seem like a gimmick to me. Sony probably slightly improved it and just changed the physical appearance of it to make money. But Seeing as I get curious and my impulsive sub-concious gets the better of me, once my original breaks, I'll probably pick up a slim.

Wow Sony's marketing already worked on me.

Well, I truly think that it's "improved", but for now, I'm sticking with my original model. But like you, Ultimobeer, I'd probably pick up a Slim if mine broke. Also, good to see you around again ;)
