Police station crash in RE2?

I have searched for an answer as to fix the game from crashing when you enter the police station, and found the fix, in which you change the game id to the japanese id. Looking at the file, it already had the fixed ID, and I even tried to re-convert it. The crash still occurs. Any ideas as to why it still crashes after the fix?

I've been having the same problem with it too. Hope someone can find an answer.

as have I... I think it's a lag error.

I've check the psx compatability and this is the report...

Firmware 3.40 OE-A required, and SLPS-01222 MUST be set as the Game ID.

Although i'm sure it will work just as good on M33 firmwares as well because the reports havent been updated for anything after 3.40 oe-a
