ok so just answer this

to play any emulators such as snes for psp i need to have custom firmware or 1.5 ofw right?

ok well finally i know. so what should i do i want snes emu. but i don't want to do a battery thing. is there any other way?

you have to have a pandoras battery and magic mem stick in order to downgrade your psp. or you can buy another motherboard for your psp with custom firmware on it, or another firmware that you are able to downgrade from.
use the easy pandora installer guide here: http://www.pspbrew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9572
its easy to use and you can easily revert your battery and mem stick back to normal. all you need is another psp with custom firmware on it in order to make the battery and mem stick.

Alright np, hope you can figure something out. I think there is something you can do though, you can sign up somewhere and someone can let you borrow a pandoras battery and magic mem stick if they live near you. I have heard some of the people on the forums talking about this.
