Yea, we don't even have any ISOs or anything so they can't do anything.

bkfraiders7 wrote:whoa whoa whoa. We cant have the "free games" cause people will think ISO and Sony might sue us...... I know that is a little far but SOny has done it before and might do it again to us. Change that to homebrew games. And maybe add some punctuation. We want to look a little professional.

I like bkfraiders7 for two reasons. He's a straight thinker, and often times he thinks like I do. The "free games" is an absolute no-no. Instead of listing the commercial aspects of the different systems, focus on homebrew. If you want to list specific examples, don't say things like, "PSX, GBA, NES" etc. ~ instead, say things like, "IRShell, PSP Rhythm, or Hexaxis". Small screenshots of those with captions under them about what they do would be exceptional. Also, it may be a wise idea to add flash0 customization... perhaps wording it like, "Learn how to customize your PSP's menu!" in a "shout bubble". Get what I'm saying?

@ Mice ~ you word some really nice things about PSPBrew, but it's "too wordy". People aren't attracted to words, especially on flyers.

Small graphics, small captions, and an explosive emphasis on PSPBrew.com (and perhaps on the bottom, list the rest of the brewology) i.e. "Also visit xboxbrew.com, wiibrew.com..." etc. There's some good stuff so far in this thread. I think Reigo80 is pretty close though.

Yea I guess putting the GBA, NES, SNES stuff might be a no-no because you need ROMs to play em.. and most people don't make their own backup ROM files from their games. But we aren't hinting them to get ROM files, we're just saying that you can play em; its possible on the PSP. The "free games" thing, idk, it might be o/k, I mean its not like we have free 'PSP Games', so nothing bad can happen. If anything SONY might check out the site and see what its about and that its nothing illegal.

I understand that "free games" doesn't necessarily imply that PSPBrew shares commercial video games... which it doesn't, and that's fine. But what we must consider is that this flyer will be in a successful local gamestore, and putting "free games" on the flyer may be viewed as "defacing" the games store in a way - something we definitely don't want to do when we're getting free advertising space.

And that's the exact purpose that we're trying to get across. If we can get people to come here and learn, then they can take whatever avenue they want with homebrew. I'm thinking tomorrow I will take a few pictures of the location. Soon at least.

Yes asddasit, we dont have any piracy or anything to worry about but we still dont need Sony to come around here if we can choose not to. Explain to me this, if they did find something (with as much money as they have they can "find" just about anything they choose) would we/they want Monkey to go to court? Nope.Would we have enough money to pay for court and the law suit? Nope again.... So why would we want to even advertise that to make them come? No duh some Sony man has come over here and looked around. I am almost positive some sony dude has.

But for as far as i am concerned i would rather not have a sony law suite ANYWHERE near us.

Who knows.. anyone of us could be SONY  . *Looks around at people*
Yea i'm pretty sure SONY checked us out, but if thats true, then they probably checked out a whole lot of other sites, which probably had illegal stuff on them, however I haven't heard much of SONY suing anyone. I guess they might figure that this stuff is the thing that makes people want to buy PSPs and stuff.
