Alright cool, try formating your memory stick, and put the ISO files back on the psp. Are there any error numbers that pop up when you try to play em? You might need to change the "no-umd mode' option in recovery mode to enable or w/e its suppose to be.

uh oh :P

ok...my psp is fine, and working well...but i took my brother's psp-1001 and it was at the official 2.80, so i downgraded to 1.50, then i upgraded to 3.40 oea, then to 3.53 m33....then to 3.71 m33, and went up to 3.72 hx-1 finally.....was working fine, then he told me it was acting weird...now it won't turn on just on battery, it only turns on when you have it plugged into the wall, and when it's pluggeed in it doesn't charge the battery cuz it's fully charged, so it obviously should work on just battery.....well is there any ideas you guys got?

kkaller2001 - first of all, welcome "back". You should come by more often. Anyways, I think the problem is that you didn't reconvert the battery back to normal follow this tutorial. At the bottom it has the steps you can use to revert your pandora's battery back to normal.

Yea, it sounds like he hasn't reverted his battery back from a pandora one. Did you use that battery to make a pandora's battery to downgrade your psp?

Oh.. well I'm not sure what the deal is, I bought one of those new anti-pandora batteries and for some reason it won't even work on my PSP. Mine is a phat psp on 3.40 OE-A and it won't work, it doesn't charge and it doesn't play w/o the AC adapter. But it plays fine on my friends psp and theirs is a old phat psp, had for a couple of years. Try googling it and see if you can find something.

yeah

yeah, i donno...his psp is the same model number as mine....but he's livid with me now, cuz i was like it's no big deal and then i can download stuff for you...and w/e...now the battery doesn't work...i was gonna see if upgrading to hx-2 then adding the 150 kernel would work but i didn't see how to instlall it on there...so i jsut donwloaded the eboot and moved it around on the memry stick and it never became visible on the psp to run

Did he "un=pandoraize" the battery? or is it still a pandora one? I'm guessing it isn't pandorized since it worked in yours.. I'm not sure, i bought one of those new batteries for my psp and it doesn't work on mine.

i never

i never pandorized the battery...unless doing that upgrade did it somehow, and didn't on mine...also...it's the battery that came with his psp-1001...and it worked before i upgrades from 2.80(official)-1.50-3.40-3.52-3-2-371-3.71-2and finally to 3.72 hx1...and it still works in mine when i did about the same thing 3.10-3.40-3.52-3.52-2-3.71-2.372 hx1...and mine works fine..works fine with my battery i did it with...my battery i did his upgrades with....his works with mine, but not his battery....but no...it came with his 1001 psp, not new...and i didn't do anything else to his psp

well

who would?...where's that HX guy or the one that posted the CFW? cuz obviously this is a bug of some sort...or maybe someone that knows something about firmwares...someone else on this site...i donno...just kinda not kewl that guy comes on the scene and messes up obviously...but it is good that someone was/is doing something to keep CFW alive if dax doesn't do it anymore, but it should be inline with the effort, know how, quality that he had done with it if he's gonna come and try to do what he was/is...i didn't ever have a problem with anyuthing dax did...and if there waqs a problem, i know for a fact it would have been said, beta tested most likely figured out before it was put out, also would ahve came out with a install guide for hx-2

figured it out, but not the cause

seems tha ti kinda figured that problem out, but i believe CFW caused it cuz of the timing of when it happened at the least, the battery overloaded and popped causing a bend in the umd drive cuz the battery buldged out when it popped causing the cover to bend out and maybe the battery actually exploding of sorts to bebasically everything on the baside of the psp displacing it...crazyness
