At this time, members that have not been considered for staff positions, and wanted them (to my knowledge), are kellytna123, 8-bit ninja, xial, and mice R nice ~(_">. My plan is to make you guys Global News Posters for the entire brewology. The mods I've appointed have also received those powers. Furthermore, if you are those 4 members that I've just mentioned, please keep in mind that due to training/ working out short-term problems with the new mods/ admin and their training, you 4 will most likely get your news posting privileges either later on today (November 24) or tomorrow. At the current moment, that's the plan.
Training
In order to be trained, the new moderators will have to:
1. Be aware they can edit everyone's posts, but if they do it without reason, that's abusing powers.
2. That they can run I.P. addresses of any member that posts in their jurisdiction. (spammers I.P. can be banned by Administrators, so report them to an Admin).
3. You can now see the admin/ mod boards. Feel free to post there.
4. Here's the big thing... the news posting tool. I'd like for the new staff to goto the home page of any of the brewology sites, and then look on the left-hand side. There will now be a new menu accessible to you select people. Click on the link and you will be brought to the news posting tool. From there, you can choose what site to post the news on, what to write, upload pictures etc.
Since it is much different than writing in the forum, I'm asking that other staff members help to train the new staff members with the news posting tool. Please begin to choose who you guys want to train. And to sound off, you may NOT post one news article on more than 1 site (admins only) and you MUST proofread and spellcheck your articles.
