360 or PS3?

Ok the holidays is almost here and since I am a proud owner of the Wii, its time for me to step to the big
next gen consoles.

What do you think I should get for Xmas, 360 or PS3? To be honest I TRULY want the PS3 just for one my
favorite games MGS 4 and GTA. On the other hand people claim the 360 to be more fun. Which one?

For CHRISTmas i am getting the 360. Online is better on it by a longshot. I also love the games on it. Halo 3 is the one i love the best.

Should I get the Halo 3 version or Pro Bundle Pack?

I heard that Warhawk and Resistance: Fall of Man for PS3 are pretty good.

Personally i like the value of the Elite pack.So i am getting it.

And also(another personal) since the pro is $50 less then the Halo edition, i would get the Pro. All i can read thats the difference between them is the Halo edition has a cool design and a cool theme.

I have never even played the PS3 but my big thing is online games.. Having a regular XBOX and my old roomate having a ps2.. we played the xbox more because of the online shooter games.. So earlier this year I broke down and got a 360 finally because of the game Gears of War.. made me have to upgrade.. lol


But Im sure the PS3 is great.. I just mainly care about online games.. and the 360 arcade rocks.. ladies love to play some of the games on there cause they are so simple.. my friend daniel has a NES in 05 tahoe.. and I swear to you, females love playing it whenever we drive.. its crazy funny..

but its just up to you man.. if your doing online games, I would say 360 though.. Although, Devil May Cry are some of my favorite games ever.. and I don't think its on 360, just playstation.. but I could be wrong.. If its on the 360 I am damn sure going to buy it though..

I've always been a playstation fan lol. I guess PS3 could be right for me, I love free online games. I could probably get Galaxy along with another good PS3 game like Assassins Creed.

I like the Halo series, but beyond other Xbox games, there wasn't any I really enjoyed, but Metal Gear is one cool battlefield game.

yea.. for the 360 all I play and own is, Halo, Gears of War, The Orange Box, and Tiger Woods.. mostly other than that I play the 360 arcade..

Yea we already had a HUGE discussion on this on the thread staxx made. I already posted everything I liked about each one over there so I'm just gona go ahead and say I'd get a 360. I'm getting the halo 3 one for Christmas, but it really depends on what you like. It costs 8 bucks a month for xbox live, which totally pwns the ps3 online play. But you get what you pay for. In the future I might get a ps3, but right now the better one imo is the 360

My only tiff with getting the 360 is that I'm a Metal Gear Solid fan, just like you Slick. I know that if I got a 360, that at some point I'd HAVE to get a PS3 because of Metal Gear Solid 4/ Gran Turismo (and other Sony-only fancies).

That's pretty much the only reason I don't have any of the new systems.

It really wouldnt surprise me if they came over to the 360 since the PS3 isnt doing the best right now.

Oh and slick.....360 does have a LOT of free games. In its live arecade that is.

I agree with that.....To me tho, the 360 can do all that too. Except internet. ANything else?

Anyways, Difference between halo edition and pro bundle... pro bundle is better

Pro bundle holiday pack comes with games, halo edition doesnt
Pro bundle costs less.
Hard drive is the same size.
The only thing that the halo edition has that the pro doesnt is a rechargable battery pack but eh id choose games and a cheaper price over a rechargable battery any day.

Also, assassins creed is available on 360. It's not that great of a game tho, REALLLLLYYYY repetitive. The xbox live arcade is pretty similar to the nintendo wii shopping channel. Gotta redeem a points card to purchase stuff.

But i definately have my thumbs up for the 360 as i've mentioned in the other thread, and im a sony fanboy. Just trust me, you wont regret purchasing the 360
