if its a big file, then it should take a while, so if its above or around 500 MB then ya its usual to take a decent bit of time.

And as for it not appearing on your memory stick, there could be a number of reasons why its not showing up or working...

Are you sure that all the right files are in the right places?

When you open WinRar, go to 'Options' then 'Settings' then go to the tab that says 'Integration' and uncheck the box that says 'ISO' I think you're files should come as ISO files, instead of 'PSP_GAME'

o ya, i forgot about that. But i didnt think you unpaced iso, i just thought they were unpacked from a .RAR file and then put the ISO on PSP...

i think you might have done something wrong when extracting, or else its what Adventwolf said even though i've never unpacked an ISO with Winrar, as the ISO is just a file that you put on the PSP

Usually when people host ISO files, they .rar them to make the files smaller, so ya gotta use a .rar extracter such as WinRar to get the ISO file out.

I think you misunderstood me
i know what the .RAR files are, i've done that tons of times. But you shouldnt have to set the winrar to Integrate ISO's, integration is used to decide what file types you want winrar to "handle", such as 7-zip or zip files. Adding ISO to the integration shouldnt do anything if i understand his problem correctly. And i think he meant that it appears as folders PSP->Game> as in the folders....but i'm not really sure what exactly he's saying.

Not sure, but I think if you let winrar associate with the files, you can view all the files inside the ISO, and you can delete them that way instead of using UMDGen, but im not sure.. Well the main folder of an ISO file is the 'PSP_GAME' folder, is has the EBOOT and all the game files inside.

ya thats true, but i've almost never had to actually unpack the ISO, since it is simply the file needed to put on the psp the way it is...

it might be you have a wierd ISO, i would suggest just using an easier ISO site that doesnt require Torrent files which are a pain. If you want a link to a good Site where you can get PSP isos, just PM someone because i dont think sites can be posted on regular forums
