Pandoras battery is the only way to downgrade from 3.80, if that's what you were asking.
This is a sig. You may think that there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary sig.

since the software isnt out yet, i still have to wait right?
but what do i actually require to hack it into another version. as far as i know, the normal psp method is different from the slim.

You need the 'Pandora's Battery' and a special memory stick with the 1.50 and 3.71 files on it instead of the regular Pandora Method.
And you can downgrade any firmware this way even if it is a new firmware. There has been no update yet that prevents downgrading with pandora.

hmm, i still need those items

so the pandora battery is a battery that has been modified ( i think the shops should have this)
but the memory stick , where do i get those files and

> i heard that after modifying the battery, it cant be used normally anymore. is the memory stick the same?

You can revert the battery back to normal and use it again, same as the memory stick. And you can't get the modded battery at the shops, you'll have to make it yourself :(. Or buy it off eBay. You get the Memory Stick files during the installation process. However, in order to install the stuff, you need a psp that can run the installer, which is a homebrew program, so you will need to a psp with custom firmware to make the special battery and memory stick. Or you can just buy them.

heres the thing, when i bought the psp, it was already modded and able to play Iso,Cso

so i reckon that the shop that sold it could hack anyways. since it's only possible with Pandora i guess they must have it and could just simply downgrade it for me. but i sitll dont understand the whole custom and original FW

i bought it custom i guess but when i updated it , it became the original FW?

WHere did you buy it at when you could play ISO/CSOs? What custom firmware was it?
The difference between ofw and cfw is simply that cfw allows you to both use the up to date firmwares and 1.50 firmware at the same time. The 1.50 firmware simply allows you to be able to play homebrew and ISO/CSOs.

one last question, since my psp slim is already a 3.80 and i heard the m33 will be out soon(or later)

could my psp just be upgraded that way? instead of downgrading to a 1.5 before hacking? i still dont understand why it needs to be a 1.5 before upgrading into a CFW,

Unfortunately you can't just do that, i once wondered the same thing.

its because the updates are run through 1.5 homebrew, which only runs on 1.5 psps.

However the pandora/despertar cementerio batterys and memory sticks will install cfw on any psp because they put the PSP into recovery mode which "over rides" the psp in a sense.

ok ok, lemme get this straight..

my psp slim 3.80 can be changed into .. let's say a 3.71m33(sorta thing)
by using a pandoras battery and the CFW installer??
i just need to confirm this before testing it.

BTW: yes, when i bought it, it was already CFW, you see, where i come from, these things are too expensive, so the shopkeepers will modify it for you for a price of course. meaning i need confirmation on the ability to modify my 3.80 before going to the shops lol.

Yes it works, but if your trying to make it work on a slim you'll have to use the despertar cementario program.
Theres a tutorial for it in our tutorial section.
