psp 8 GB sony pro duo memory stick

Hey guys,

I just hacked my bros fat psp and installed 3.71 m33 -4. I also then installed 1.50 kernal addon v2. He has an 8GB memory stick and some psx games dont work on that memory card that he puts in his psp, but if i put the psx or custom games on my 4gb sandisk memory stick or 32mb sony duo stick it works.

My question is does 3.71 m33 -4 support 8GB sony pro duo fully?
Because the psp isos work, and movies etc, just the homebrew (custom games) dont work. And only half the psx games work.

Any comments? Help needed. :?

Edit: after reading from other websites it says sumthing like only 6gb works on the 8gb sony mem stick and the other 2gb seens corrupt?? :?
Will this be fixed next cfw 3.80 m33??

yeh the 8gb mem stick runs only half my psx games... the one that dont work are like tekken 3 which is about 30mb. Im guesssing all the small psx games aslong with the homebrew games are in the 2gb that corrupt of the mem stick.

Maybe its a fake memory stick...maybe they arent fully compatable.

You can check if its real by scrolling to the mem stick icon, press triangle, then information. If it says supported its real if it says unsupported its fake

Hardly anyone has one, get a 4GB, but no higher, unless you NEED to carry around 15 games on your memory card at once...

The price isn't really worth it, getting 2 x 4GB is cheaper.

Yea, 8GB really isn't worth it there is no need. I just use a 2GB, ad you can fit a good amount of songs, maybe a couple of ISOs, and some Emu's. And some small videos.
