I disagree.

Children are not born haters they are taught to be haters just like they are taught to do math or to read. Once the teachers of ill will are no more maybe then will racism truly become a thing of the past.

The real problem is how do you fix it? Who will teach the parents how to raise a child? I do not think it should be the governments responsibility to do so.

So you see, just as much as the children need an education, so do some of the parents.

Well I said that because there will always be that bad influence. There will always be that bad influence out there that will create hatred.

And Farquezy.. I'm not talking about ABUSE I am talking about DISCIPLINE! Geez, people like you drive me crazy, you know absolutely nothing except that oh I'm the sh** it didn't work on me, so it must not work at all.

Gman, yea i know that we will always have terrorists, i never said that we can get rid of all of them, I said we need to get rid of all that we can, there are terrorists everywhere, and already in the US I'm assuming.

...Discipline is used to correct a child if they have done something bad or something they weren't suppose to do such as you get told not to play baseball in the house and you do it anyway and you break a ceiling fan. You deserved to be disciplined, either being grounded and loss of privileges or you might get a spanking. See what I mean, todays youth mostly think they are so bada** and have the audacity to threaten their parents with CPS.. CPS! lol. when they get disciplined. If you don't show authority over your kids they will walk all over you and grow up to probably be bad people, hang out with the wrong crowd, and waste their life. Or something. But how can you think discipline is abuse?

but now i know hwat you mean and i agree i mean i see my friends having no respect for their parents and swearing at them but i dont think discipline is needed what my parents do is talk to me instead of just take the internet away and obviously its works...

Yea, different people require different types of disciplines, some don't work on others. But some Do need the corporal punishment. But I think it isn't as effective as the child gets older, if you didn't start disiplining them at an early age, they will grow up stubborn and corporal punishment won't be effective to most of the teenagers. Talking and grounding become more effective later. Unless the kid is too stubborn.. then I wouldn't know what to do.

yah when they are young you got to teach them the right stuff like my parents did to me....
but the hitting wasnt necessary....because now im like one the nicest people and i can never hit people idk why its wierd....

i would hate me kids to be stubborn. But i would rather give them a treat for doing something good then punish them for doing something bad...

lol "..the buullets 'touch ya kids and I don't mean like michael." Well the sad thing is, if someone with very few intelect would hear that song they would ACTUALLY believe everything was true. I'm not saying its true or not, I haven't realy payed attention to the 911 attack and all the different things about it. But that song made probably millions of Bush-haters when they had no previous knowledge about 911 except that the towers fell.

Nice You Tube link.

Getting your news information from a music video is about as smart as watching the Colbert Report on Comedy Central or reading the headlines on The Onion.com and taking that for real news.

Out of curiosity anyone reading this believe that MTV's "The Real World" is real?

Do not believe everything you see on TV or read on the web. Get your info from several sources then make your own informed decision. Also always doubt an "expert" until you are convinced he or she knows what they are talking about do not let others give you YOUR opinion.

I base this on the fact that no one in the government knows what the F*** they are doing. No one from the president on down.

W (the current leader of the "free" world) graduated Yale with straight Cs (hardly presidential) and scored a 25 on his ASVAB military entrance exam. If you or I would have done that we would be peeling potatoes for a career. People that stupid need to be told which end of the weapon to point at the enemy. So you see W never could have orchestrated something as sophisticated as 911. W is not even a military tactician and so is less qualified to be Commander in Chief. You see, daddy's money got W into the Air National Guard. His dad had to buy him a way in because W lacked the required 4 years of flight experience to join as a pilot. Signing up for the Guard is how he avoided getting drafted and being sent to Vietnam to fight that war. Ironically W sends National Guard troops overseas to fight his war. On a side note he also avoided his one weekend a month and his 2 week a year National Guard obligation as well.

The CIA is the worst intelligence agency in the world because it is run by a bunch of pompous rich kids that have no clue about world events. You don't believe me? read this book:

http://www.randomhouse.com/doubleday/le ... legacy.htm

A lot of things went wrong on 9/11. Do you think that was the first time planes were hijacked with knives? Wrong read this: http://www.emergency.com/2001/turkey-hijack-03-15.htm

or this:

http://archives.cnn.com/1999/ASIANOW/so ... index.html

or this:

http://english.peopledaily.com.cn/engli ... 61280.html

All of these are PRE 9/11 examples of planes being hijacked with knives. Someone at the FAA or some other 3 letter government agency was not smart enough or too lazy to do their job.

All of the failures of 9/11 come down to several people in different organizations over time not taking the initiative to think and look down the road and decide if it could happen locally. Well, 911 did happen and now all we can do is learn from it as a nation and hopefully prevent it from happening again.

Moral of the story? - I turned out just fine. I was mowing my grandmother's lawn before I was in kindergarten and multiplying and doing long division before 1st grade. I also had an 8th grade/ 3rd month reading level in first grade as well and in second grade I was writing in full-blown (and fancy) cursive. Spanking isn't child abuse, it's a parenting tool, and if used correctly, child prodigies like myself can arrise. Not only that, but I was a very happy child. Later down the road, however, I learned that smoking pot, drinking, and fooling around with girls was much more fun and decided to stop working so hard to get A's in school. Foolish? - I say, you only live once.

lol u was a nerd haha but u know i smoke weed, sometimes and its really good im telling you, fooling around with girls and just having fun but at the same time i make good grades cuz jsut like you said u only got 1 life and i wanna be rich when i grow up even though wat im bein has nothing to do with reading and that stupid things...
but u gatta learn to balance ur friends and grades man

I can honestly say that I've always been the farthest thing from a nerd. I had great grades, tons of friends, and the only girlfriend with boobs larger than an A cup. I was THE guy in 7th/ 8th grade, but I didn't like it.

I know I'll have everything I want in life, so no worries there.

I tell my friends teh exact same thing, that show is the opposite of real.. Who watches that show?! I mean wth where they thinking when they named that show. All they do is drink and dance and act stupid.

I agree, Instead of blaming the government for conjuring up 9/11, we should work on preventing a second one.

Let's be careful not to slenderize gays, farquezy, especially in a government topic. I know you didn't directly insult gays, but saying something is "gay" is assuming it is less than normal. Members of our forum may be gay and object to statements like those.

Furthermore, while I'm on the topic, what do you guys think about gays/ lesbians? Equal rights and opportunity or no?
