sony memory stick speed help

i heard from someone that there was a way to make slow sony memory sticks run faster, more like a sandisk to make them work better...does anyone know of this?

I responded to your pm about it, but i'll post here too in case someone else wants to look it up as well. Theres a way to format it in windows somehow that will increase transfer speeds and load times. Used to know how but its been over a year since i've done it so it isnt coming to my mind.
