Meaning of Life/Why are we here, and How did we get here?

Thats a good summary, except I don't think life is too short. It may have been in the last couple of generations, but not this one. The earth is running down, more dumba**es are spawning. People are more stupid now, they have no common sense. More and more crime is occurring, to me I'd rather not be here for long.

It's just that, people don't have common sense anymore, they might have book smarts, but people make some of the stupidest decisions. I see a lot of stupid people. And I meet more a**es now too.

The reason that a lot of people perceive life being short is because of how we live and develop.

Humans are born helpless and most of us reach the peak of our development within 25 years. After that it is all down hill with few exceptions. Compare this with other mammals.

Once we are old enough to leave the "nest" Most of us work until we die. For 90% of the population the most care free years of their lives are the ones they spent at home with their parents.

That is why life is too short because when you spend your time living cheque to cheque or stressed because of whatever medical condition and changing your lifestyle to extend your life you are no longer "living".

true, my brother is a A student but he's like WTF when it comes to common sense.

Very VERY simple question.
Humans were put on this plant, Earth for TWO reasons (religion aside).

To survive and replicate.

Every person on this planet's goal in life is to survive long enough to find
a mate and pass on their genes. No matter WHO you are, nature will
unapologetically weed your genes out of existence unless you are willing
to take action NOW and learn to pass on your genes.

Yea thats true, but I'd still rather not live for too long in today's society. But yea, the days living with our parents are the best years of our lives, so care free.

MY mom says i dont have common sense. lol. I do very well in school tho. I have never made below a A (in other words all As in my life.). When it comes to some of the simplest things tho i dont use my head. If it comes to something thats important i think it through.

its what you make of it, instead of trying to find a universal definition to life, find your own answer
instead of asking why did God, Allah, Buddah or whomever put you on this rock called Earth
ask yourself "what are you going to do with life?"
what drives me nuts is how we've become complacent with what we're given
