Hang on, I thought this was about the "next-gen" not the best of current gen..

Dudes, we can use the Wiimote on the PC now, I was playing Portal earlier with my wiimote, i customized it so it handled better than the script the GlovePIE comes with and I also scripted it for some of my emulators, just think of the possibilities of the motion sensitive control and the power of the PC. This is something that isn't exactly legal right now but think of the calibur of gaming to spawn from this!

I envision a pair of glasses (goggles most likely) that are also motion sensitive, and as you turn your head your perception in the world will move with it. Think of the level of interactivity this will bring, and I can so easily see it from the start of the next decade, it's a possibility, and I reckon they already know this. Of course, they aren't going to rush things, they will milk each novelty with all its got before moving on, which is why we need to give them a little push by developing our own ideas and making them as much a reality as we can..

oops, sorry i went off on one there didn't I.. :D

Haha, that's been out for a long while now.
And PS3 controllers have it too and so does XBox 360 controllers.
I was playing Halo on my cousin's laptop with a 360 controller.

Well, OK that is true.. but still, I have only just come across it and don't understand how no one can see the potential of this.

It unlocks so much, for Steam user's or even third party dev's that use Steam, we can make games using a powerful engine designed specifically for the wiimote and get away with it legitimately (one way or another).
And I feel the code for the wiimote still needs tinkering (where motion is concerned) and do things that the Wii itself can't handle.

And why isn't the PC on the list? It's still considered a gaming platform and has many of it's own exclusive games. I'd say PS3 but I don't own one and although the PSP is my fav on the list, as a handheld it's not meant for next-gen. But it's got my vote anyway :)

The poll is what is your favorite System, not what is the next gen system. I'll be getting a PS3 though here in a couple of weeks :D. It's gonna be sweet. I heard that a new PS3 version is coming out, a 160 GB or something.

What!? The reason it's sales aren't doing well is because of it's price.. I don't see the motive for bringing out a larger HD PS3 that will inevitably be more expensive.. :/

But I would buy it, I downloaded the MGS4 trailer on a mate's PS3 and it took up 2% of his hard drive, and this is the 60G model, just one trailer... meh..

Lol.
Vista should be on the list, like civil said.
And people are already using the wiimote everyday for their computer.

it is the best console. if only some more developers were attracted to the system. sega made a marketing mistake, but we will soon overthrow their rule!

wtf!? They've released a game for a system that isn't even allowed to be manufactured anymore?

I am not sure about what the contract was but I'm pretty sure that Sega entered an agreement that they cannot release game systems or something of the like (which is why they left the console wars) so how can they make a come back? Oh well, I personally have missed Sega, but hold original Sonic games closer to my heart than any recent stuff.
