You can also look at it this way. How many white people do you see in Vancouver? Not many I'll tell you, lol... I'm not racist or anything, but there are a LOT of immigrants in Vancouver. Many foreigners set up shop in Canada and try to become Canadian citizens because it is EASIER than becoming a US citizen. On top of that, governments don't like granting dual citizenships. I don't really know of many people that have dual citizenship from just applying. It either comes from your birth situation (parents are Canadian but you were born in the US) or through marriage. Usually if you are applying for citizenship they want you to give up your other ones. It's like applying for a job because you'd like to work there sometimes...
